Rev Anthea Ballam, Interfaith Minister & Priest
Welcome to the Home Page of Interfaith Minister, Rev Anthea Ballam. Interfaith ministers respect people of all religions and Anthea is a practising minister and priest who holds inclusive ceremonies honouring all faith views - be they atheist, pagan, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu or Buddhist.
Anthea writes and ministers for many ceremonies - weddings, funerals, blessings, baby blessings and civil partnerships... in Sussex and beyond. She specialises in the study and writing of prayers, guided meditations and visualisations, particularly for those who may not be well.
She is a qualified hypnotherapist, and is passionately committed to serving the needs of people and planet.
In the course of her faith work, Rev Anthea has written a number of publications containing a variety of prayers and readings that she has written for different occasions. These are available in book form from this website on the publications page.
Spoken guided meditations, written to aid relaxation and wellbeing can also be downloaded as podcasts.
Working with the Rev Debbie Gaston and her followers, Rev Anthea is part of the The Phoenix Open Faith Community. This organisation is built around a non-denominational group that meets regularly for prayer and inspirational services. The Phoenix group will offer up loving prayers for those that may request them. It also provides expertise with faith needs, varying from the writing and performance of original sacred music, to the creation of special ceremonies of all kinds.
