Weddings, Blessings and Funerals
It doesn’t matter what ones faith position, spiritually inspired ceremonies help us to connect with each other; as an interfaith minister, Rev Anthea Ballam has a total commitment to make ceremonies inclusive and fulfil the wishes and needs of those she serves. This principle prevails whether the ceremony is a wedding, baby blessing, a blessing of house and home, funeral or memorial service.
Working across the country, and even in mainland Europe, Anthea has created and ministered to ceremonies of all kinds.
Weddings and civil partnerships involving people of mixed cultures and faith are invariably memorable and inspirational. The mixing and matching of traditions and cultural influences enable such occasions to be beautiful and profoundly spiritual.
Funerals are important occasions that are as much about the departed as those attending the service. Most importantly, funerals should be healing and inspirational. Anthea has ministered to funerals for people of all ages, from the young to the old, from atheists and humanists to those of devout faith. Her latest book offers some of the readings she has written for such occasions.
